Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025 to 2030

As our We Make Camden corporate plan says, we are committed to making sure that ‘everyone in the borough has a place they call home….that is safe warm and secure.’

Our Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025 to 2030 commits us to working together to use our resources and creativity to make homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring.

Our vision is underpinned by 4 key priorities:

  1. Prevent homelessness and rough sleeping
  2. Work together to provide easy-to-access, person-centred, inclusive and responsive services
  3. Secure more housing for people that is accessible, affordable and long term
  4. Campaign for change nationally and share our learning

The strategy has been developed in collaboration with our partners across health, social care and employment and builds on learning from services delivering homelessness support. We have included learning from working together, especially with:

  • health during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • other public sector organisations
  • our local voluntary and community sector partners
  • residents who are currently or have previously experienced homelessness

Our strategy explains what we want to do and how we will achieve it by working with our partners and stakeholders.
