Green Badge parking for disabled people

A Green Badge is for disabled people who already have a Blue Badge and need to park in busy, central parts of Camden where there's limited parking available.

How it works

A Green Badge is for use in central areas called the Green Badge zone, where only a Green Badge can be used.

A Green Badge is valid:

  • until the expiry date of the Blue Badge for residents
  • for 12 months for workers
  • for 12 months for students, or until the end of the course if less than 12 months

Where you can park with a Green Badge in Camden

If you have a Blue Badge and a Green Badge, you can park in:

  • Blue Badge bays
  • shared use loading bays, this only applies at times shown on the time plate
  • shared use disabled bays, this only applies at times shown on the time plate
  • resident permit bays
  • paid-for parking bays

Where to display your permit

You must display your Green Badge in the front windscreen of your vehicle. The barcode must be facing upwards.

If you do not display your badge correctly, you could get a parking ticket and your vehicle could be removed.

When to display both your Green and Blue Badge

You need to display both badges if you want to park in:

  • resident permit bays
  • paid for parking bays
  • shared use disabled bays and Blue Badge bays

You can use your Green Badge for up to 3 vehicles. Your Green Badge can only be used in one vehicle at a time.
