Who can apply
You can apply for a Green Badge if you have a Blue Badge and:
- your primary place of residence is in Camden in the Green Badge zone,
- your main place of work is in Camden in the Green Badge zone, or
- your main place of study is in Camden in the Green Badge zone
If you work or study in the Green Badge area, you can only use your badge on the days that you need to access the area for work or studies.
How to apply
To apply for a Green Badge, you'll need a copy of the front page of the nominated vehicle V5 logbook or the Motability Agreement that must include your full name, address and vehicle details.
If you're working or studying in the Green Badge area, you will need to provide a letter to show proof of this. The letter must:
- be on company headed paper
- be signed by a manager
- include the days, times and months that you work or study in the Green Badge area
How much it costs
A Green Badge costs £33 a year if you're in paid work. It's free if you're:
- living in the Green Badge area
- studying in the Green Badge area

Face-to-face sessions
Our Concessionary Travel department hold face-to-face sessions every Tuesday at:
- 5 Pancras Square, Kings Cross, N1C 4AG, in the ground floor reception area, from 10am to 4pm
- Queens Crescent Library, 165 Queen's Crescent, NW5 4HH, from 11am to 4pm
During these sessions we can help you:
- to submit an online application form
- with documents to support your application
- make enquiries about an existing application
