Pre-planning application advice for homeowners

From Monday 10 August, planning decisions for parts of the borough around Oxford Street and the West End will be made by the Oxford Street Development Corporation (OSDC). You must not submit planning applications, pre-planning application advice requests or planning enforcement complaints to Camden Council for this area. Find out more about the transfer of planning powers to OSDC..

If you are making changes to a single house or flat, there are two types of pre-planning advice to choose from.

For proposals that involve:

  • alterations to boundary treatments

And, up to one of the following:

  • single storey rear extensions
  • loft conversions with dormer windows and roof lights
