Camden Council local elections 2026
On Thursday 7 May, registered voters go to the polls to decide who they would like as their local councillors to represent their community on Camden Council.
You can vote in the local elections if you’re 18 or over on polling day and a British or an Irish citizen, or if you’re a qualifying Commonwealth or EU citizen living in Camden.

There is still time to:
- Register to vote - the deadline is 11.59pm on Monday 20 April
- Apply to vote by post - the deadline is 5pm on Tuesday 21 April
- Apply for a proxy vote - the deadline is 5pm on Tuesday 28 April
- Apply for a Voter Authority Certificate if you don’t have photo ID - the deadline is 5pm Tuesday 28 April
Photo ID
If you vote at a polling station, you will need to show original photo ID.
