Information on the organised Tuesday walking groups in Camden.

Likewise Walk

This walk will not be running between December and March 2025. It will start again in March, 2026 please feel free to contact us on the details below for more information. 

If you’re looking to gently increase your physical activity and meet new people, our excursions around the local area might be just the ticket. Walks start at the Likewise Hub and take in different local spots each time – we’re lucky to have some great green space nearby and often stop for a coffee and a chat along the way.

We want our walks to be open to as many people as possible. A Likewise team member will be present in the group if you have any questions along the way, but if there’s anything else we can do to support you to attend please let us know.

Feel free to just drop into the hub and join us on our Tuesday walks.

Third Age Project: Monthly Hampstead Heath walk

This walk is temporarily not taking place due to the walk leader being unwell. It will resume again once recovered. Please check back here for details of the restart. Apologies for any inconvenience.

This walk is up to 2 hours long with an optional refreshment stop. The walk is suitable for older people with long-term health conditions or mobility issues. Mobility aids welcome. Advance booking essential.

Walk and Talk - connecting people with psoriasis

  • Tuesday 
  • 5pm to 6 pm

This is a closed walking group for patients at the Royal Free who are participating in the walk and talk study, connecting people with Psoriasis. This walk is by referral only and takes place on Hampstead Heath.

Creative walks with Mariia – Hampstead Heath

  • Tuesday 14 July (on hold from 21 July until September)
  • creative session - 4pm to 4.50pm
  • walk - 5pm to 5.45pm
  • meeting point - Hampstead Heath Station

This session will begin with a creative activity in a cafe before the walk at 4pm. We will use simple materials to make something playful and reflective.

After the creative session, at 5pm we will walk through Hampstead Heath, starting from Hampstead Heath Station and finishing at Gospel Oak Station. The route will offer a chance to breathe, move, look around, and let the body do some of the emotional processing for us. Legs are surprisingly wiser than the brain sometimes.

If anyone would like to join just for the walk, we will be meeting at Hampstead Heath Station at 5pm.
