How to invite the Mayor to attend your event

If you would like to invite the Mayor to attend and speak at your event please email [email protected]

The Mayor attends hundreds of engagements each year hosted by local organisations, charities or businesses across the borough.

We recommend contacting us at least 10 working days before your event. The office will then check the availability of the Mayor, if the Mayor is able to attend we will send you an engagement form to complete which needs to be returned at least 5 working days before the date of your event. This enables the office to produce the Mayor’s monthly diary.

If the Mayor is unable to attend on the date you request, the invite may be passed to the Deputy Mayor.

If you have any questions or need advice or help with the form please email [email protected] providing a telephone number and a member of the team will get back to you.'

The Mayor's Christmas Toy Appeal 2025

Spread joy to someone in need this Christmas by contributing to the Mayor’s Toy Appeal 2025.

It is the Christmas time yet again and the Mayor of Camden invites you all, if you’re in a position to do so, to support the Mayor's Toy Appeal. Join us in embracing the Christmas spirit by donating items like new toys, toiletries, gift vouchers, or clothing to help local families in need.

All donations will be distributed by Camden Family Services, social workers, and early help teams who have been supporting families through a particularly challenging year.

If you’re shopping online, ensure any toys you purchase have the UKCA or CE mark for safety assurance. Read the guide for more information regarding safety tips for buying toys.

We know not everyone will be able to buy a gift, but there are other ways to support your neighbours too, including by donating your time. Find out more about various ways to donate and help others on our website.
