Secondary school Year 7 admissions
We co-ordinate admissions for Year 7 places at Camden secondary schools. We also provide advice on transfers, vacancies and appeals.

Moving On to Secondary School Event – bookings now open
Parents of children in primary school years 4 and 5 are invited to our Camden Moving On to Secondary School Event on Tuesday 23 June 2026, with timed slots available from 4pm to 6.30pm. This free in-person event at the London Irish Centre, Camden Square, NW1 9XB, is a great opportunity to:
- receive advice on how to apply for a Year 7 place for September 2027 from the Camden Admissions Team
- find out more about what Camden secondary schools have to offer your child
- speak with headteachers, student ambassadors and staff from Camden secondary schools.

SEND Open Morning at William Ellis School - 18 June
William Ellis School is hosting a SEND-focused Open Morning on Thursday, 18 June at 9am to give families an opportunity to find out more about the school's provision. Parents and prospective students will be able to meet current students and the school's special educational needs and disabilities co-ordinator (SENDCO), as well as tour the school. Meet the Parents - informal forums for parents
Meet the Parents run informal forums where parents of current primary school pupils can ‘meet the parents’ and students who attend their local secondary schools and hear about their experiences of those schools.
Post-16 choices
What you decide to do after Year 11 is important for your future. At 16, you can either stay in full-time education or start working in a job that includes part-time education, such as an apprenticeship or training.
