If you are aged 60 or over, there are low or no cost seated exercise classes you can join in Camden.

These gentle sitting exercises will help improve your mobility and prevent falls. Don't worry if you've not done much for a while – these seated exercises are gentle and easy to follow. With a fabulous tutor who has taught with us for many years. Booking essential.

Chair-based exercise, Third Age Project
Free for members (yearly membership £15)
A good entry-level session to get moving again, these gentle chair exercises will help prevent falls and improve mobility. This highly popular and sociable class is run by long-time TAP sessional instructor Susan. A fun and enjoyable way to get fit for people with lower mobility. Some health questions may be asked when you first join. For all abilities. No booking is required.

Chair Yoga, Third Age Project
Free for members (yearly membership £15) and Free for non-members
A gentle seated chair yoga class.
The class is taught by Katya from Camden Adult Community Learning (ACL). Practicing Yoga improves mobility, flexibility, strength and mindfulness. A great way to gently start moving if you are in/leaving physiotherapy. To join the class, you will need to complete a Camden ACL enrolment form and a course diary. For all abilities. No booking is required.
