Fitness Fusion & Strengthening for over 50s - Strength & Stretch

Boost your strength, balance and flexibility in this energising full-body workout. Combining low-impact cardio, bodyweight exercises and stretching, this class is perfect for all fitness levels. Men’s Muscle Sculpt

Designed to help men stay active, strong, and healthy. The session focuses on improving strength, balance, mobility, and overall fitness through simple, accessible exercises in a friendly and supportive environment. This session is tailored to the abilities of those taking part.

Men's Shed, Third Age Project

Free for members (yearly membership £15)
 
An intermediate level of sports and exercise for men aged 60 and over. Stay both physically and mentally engaged through activities like badminton and weight training. Sessions include guided training with instructor Taz from 13:30 - 14:30pm, followed by an independent session with badminton, weights, and refreshments from 14:30 - 15:45pm. Attendees are welcomed to join either the guided session, independent session, or both. No booking is required.

Over 60s Fitness 

Castlehaven Community Association run the Ageactivity 60+ programme. There is an annual membership fee of £30 and the offer to try a class before you buy. 

Our over-60s fitness classes are a fun, social way to stay active. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or already a regular mover, our experienced tutor Tony will be there every step of the way to provide guidance and support.

Strong Body, Strong Mind, Third Age Project

Free for members (yearly membership £15)
 
This is an advanced women's exercise class focused on strength training with weights, along with stretching and relaxation sessions specifically designed for women aged 60 and above. Led by instructor Philomena with over 20-years experience. Women only. 2 sessions take place on Wednesdays- from 11:00- 12:00pm and 12:15- 13:15pm. Booking is required- please ensure you book at least one week in advance by calling or visiting TAP. Appropriate footwear is advised.
