Camden Town Vision
Camden Town is the borough’s largest town centre, and we think it is the right time to look at Camden Town as a whole. We aim to develop a framework that will guide investment to build on Camden Town’s strengths, that retains its uniqueness and is vibrant, safe, welcoming and sustainable.
What's happening now
Since the engagement in summer 2025, our consultants working on the engagement, Urban Symbiotics, have been reviewing, collating and analysing what you have told us. We are using this information to draft a Camden Town Vision and are preparing to carry out a second stage of consultation on this in summer 2026.
What has happened so far
Last year, we were at the first stage of developing this vision and launched a public engagement on the issues, opportunities and ideas for Camden Town over the summer. It was open to everyone that lived, worked or visited Camden Town or just had a view on what Camden Town means to them.
Responses were gathered through:
- our Commonplace engagement page where you can still find out more and sign up for updates
- an exhibition and drop-in sessions at Camden Town Library
- street pop-ups and themed walks and workshops in Camden Town
- written comments submitted by email to [email protected]
What are the next steps
Once we have produced a draft Camden Town Vision, we will be launching a consultation to gather your views on it. This consultation is planned to take place in summer 2026.
When the Camden Town Vision will be published
Following the completion of the consultation in summer 2026, we anticipate publishing the Camden Town Vision in winter 2026/27.
