All our libraries are friendly, safe places where you can relax, connect with others, and feel at home.
Our library team receive training to better understand the challenges faced by sanctuary seekers and how to offer sensitive, informed support. We work with a range of local organisations to connect people with specialist services, advice, and community groups. If you work with or support people seeking sanctuary and would like to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you.
How to get involved
- join us – everyone is welcome to become a library member
- volunteer – help with language groups, events, or community outreach
- give feedback – tell us how we can make our libraries more welcoming and useful to you
